The farm is open by appointment this time of year as the cut-flowers are mostly foliage, tree branches and short stuff in the cold wet “off season”. Creative arrangers can find great stuff if they want to brave the weather 🙂
We still have unlimited volunteer opportunities. No experience required. That said, someone who likes to fix chainsaws, riding lawnmowers (and our train) or do chainsawing could be super handy 🙂
The products Kelly designs and sells on the website are always available. The deadline for getting stuff before Christmas is getting very close as I write this. We do have great stuff for all seasons 🙂
When we get rains, the river will rise. It can be fun to walk down and see it when it gets full and powerful.
And, we still have fire piles to burn. Some covered by plastic so we can uncover them and have a fire anytime we want 🙂
Winter can be great for bubbles! We can have a fire and host birthdays and such at the farm for weather-hardy folks 🙂 Sadly, our lack of a bathroom for the public is still an issue to overcome. We have one “under construction”, but it is one of those everlasting “Kelly projects” that will take quite a while unless we get a volunteer or two that want to help make it happen quicker. Big Bubbler can always travel to your local park or lawn for a party, but he does like bubbling here at Wet Rock Gardens!
